Charles Martin

Charles was the Senior Partner of the London law firm Macfarlanes LLP for 12 years before he stepped down to focus on his advisory work.
During his 38 years at the firm, he worked principally in M&A and Private Equity, acting for sponsors, corporates and family offices.
Clients look to him particularly for strategic counsel and tactical input on a wide variety of matters including M&A, litigation and family office issues.

Much of his work is cross-border. He is an officer of and actively involved in the International Bar Association.
He is a trustee of the 29^th May 1961 Trust, the Lilly Fenichel Foundation and Pallant House Gallery and actively supports a number of other charities.
Charles is a Senior Advisor to Rothschild & Co, Cale Street Partners, Darrois Villey and Invica.
