Bridget was a Partner and Head of the Investment Management Group at Macfarlanes (a leading and well-established City of London law firm). She joined the firm in 1981 and for most of her career she worked in London, except for a year on secondment to law-firm Skadden Arps in New York
During her 37 years at Macfarlanes she has assisted some of the leading private equity firms in designing fund structures (including the regulatory issues) as well as advising investors going into private equity funds from all over the world

At Macfarlanes she oversaw a group of over 100 lawyers and was rated as one of the top Private Funds lawyers in the world between 2008 and 2018
Bridget was listed as one of the three Senior Statesman for private equity funds in Chambers Legal Directory 2017 and 2018
